I used to visit everyday but now visit occasionally. The level of the website has dropped for real. Hard to sell social media accounts these days. I am a Nigerian living in Canada so it hurts me that Nigeria needs to be banned, but if thats what it takes, I am ok with it

As a buyer, you can negotiate with the seller to have them cover the fee in case of ticket failure. If included in the terms, we will enforce that regardless of the ticket amount.
Many potential sellers do not want to provide their ID unless they have a potential buyer, which is completely reasonable. This is why we allow anyone to create a listing, but to actually make a ticket you must be verified as a seller.

This isnât isolated to SWAPD. In general, selling social media accounts dropped everywhere, even on websites that only strictly sell accounts. Many of our competitors also use Trustap, and Tustap shares quarterly general sales data with us showing our performance compared to our competitors. FameSwap, the once king, lost 73% of sales this year, compared to 2025. So, this is something we cannot fix, itâs a general problem pretty much everywhere. I blame it on:
- Market saturation, too many websites sell accounts now
- Crypto tanking since forever now
- The world being in a bad financial shape

My opinion is that itâs this. Nobody will sell their golden egg, and if they do, it wonât be for a cheap price, which many people are not willing to take the risk on.

Even Flippa started selling accounts now. But itâs not going well for them, most of their categories are empty or almost empty.

I love the idea and Iâm actually one of the very disappointed buyers in swapd compared to last year where my sellers had 70 to 80% success rates and most my tickets were successfully completed
Now since the beginning of the year Iâve been opening tickets left and right with alleged proper good sellers tha never delivered wasted my time and money and bottom line I could not deliver my work because of fake and dry promises that my service will be done quickly and on time and price
I see this forum as a very unique one and spending hundreds of thousands in here proves it obviously however I did start looking for alternatives rapidly In the past 3 months especially where from 30 buyers tickets I only had 4 successful deals done which is I think absurd and does kind of make me feel like Iâm in Fiverr
Therefore I believe the drastic changes are not only needed but vital to not lose swapd credibility and stamina it gained so well over the years and we need to have sellers prove abilities with RECENT PROOFS to admin AND to buyers upon starting a ticket
So when a new ticket Is starting the seller must provide relevant case success metrics before taking prepayment / any payment
Anyhow I hope the vip and diamond section also get rechecked so sellers that HAD great success rate and now donât wonât keep their badges in the esteemed tiers

close the thousands of âbuyer requestsâ since 90% of them have been fulfilled or no longer active on the platform but are still open, just to inflate numbers imo.

That is not true. Very little of them have been fulfilled, and our system auto-closes all the topics there after 90 days of inactivity.

All the people I messaged about their open buyer request said that theyâre either fulfilled, no longer need it or didnât respond.

Yes that and also X and Meta having subscriptions to get verified or claim a username are probably also good reasons for sales declining. I also feel like a lot of users are overcharging for theyâre services, maybe to offset not being able to sell the aforementioned ones. Most people canât afford to pay 15k.

Platform changes are a part of the game. Other users adapted, and moved to Reputation Repair - Look at @porcupine. He is making a 10-year average salary in a month.

I agree on banning those spam accounts, I mainly search sellers on this platform but I only get contacted by spam accounts and safety concern (even if I specify âserious sellers onlyâ in every WTB thread I post.
We are willing to bet itâs because is the onslaught of Nigerian users flooding their inbox. So, our discussion here is about that, and our proposed action should solve this problem, to a large extent.

- Make people upfront $100 when they take a $2000 job, or $200 for a $5000 job.
Then give that reward to the buyer + swapd if seller wastes time.
Then you know they are serious and they really want the job!

why I say this? because I know everyone vslues swapd opinion (remember socialaudit? account was perfect but swapd said if C quality proceed at your own risk which scared them away or made them go from $2000 to
âhey man I can do $200 now swapd said proceed at cautionâ
thatâs when I told you dude why you fkin up my sales!! this happened so many times!
so now vouch for the listings you wanna promote and start selling staff for your members help them push the product.

In my opinion, SWAPD is making a good decision, it really needs a major update to keep up with the times.
The problem I am currently facing with new clients is that they are not well aware of the escrow process. It takes a lot of time and effort to explain it to them. New clients say things like:
⢠Will pay after the task is done (they donât know about escrow)
⢠Want to pay through PayPal
⢠Ask to be contacted on another platform etc.
If they have such discussions with a scammer, that scammer can ask new clients to pay first. And if new clients really believe the scammer and make the payment directly, they will be scammed. As a result, new clients can easily get scammed and a bad impression will be created about SWAPD.
My request is that a video tutorial or demo process should be created about the SWAPD escrow process, so that new clients can easily understand the process. They can avoid paying anyone directly.
The tutorial or demo will be in a place where a new person can see it as soon as they register on the platform.
