Time for drastic changes on SWAPD. We encourage you to join this discussion and help staff make the right decisions. MAKE SWAPD GREAT AGAIN!

I believe this largely addresses that. Sellers are already on the hook for paying the refund fee for transactions over 5k. Failures are to be expected, we just want them limited. We don’t want sellers being scared of offering services, just wary of overpromising or not being able to deliver at all.

True but most people can’t pivot like that

since services are short term just watch who completes succesfull tickets and market them yourself for a week since most services are temporary, be fast move from trend to trend quick.

help succesfull service providers increase tickets fast and focus on them till they stop providing it. how do you prove this? let them prove themselves to you with a test of their service

Today 30x unban listings were rejected. We should have all of them unban 1x account to prove it? And we should do it daily, for all services? We would run out of time and test cases.

From my view sales are down because the listings I am looking for are not coming. I am searching every day for Facebook Pages with a female following to purchase and it’s hard to find anything matching most of the time.

My last few transactions on Swapd consisted of actually bringing a user to signup to Swapd in order to complete the transaction.

For me Swapd is my Escrow for social media accounts so I wouldn’t have a say on most of the other issues.

I would like to share a few suggestions regarding the improvement of SWAPD and its future growth:

  1. SWAPD should continue improving the forum, as it has successfully done over the past 9 years. The platform has already achieved positive results through continuous development and innovation.

  2. I would also suggest creating a separate sister platform for premium sellers and premium services, possibly named SWAPD Premium or SWAPD Plus.

  3. All trusted members, trusted sellers, and verified service providers could be shifted to this premium platform to maintain a higher standard of quality and trust.

  4. Sellers on the premium forum should submit their listings to the staff for approval before publication. Listings that meet the required standards should be approved, while low-quality or irrelevant listings should be held back.

  5. Only premium properties, high-quality accounts, and verified premium services should be allowed on that platform.

  6. Marketplace fees should be paid in advance by buyers, similar to many other reputable forums. If a ticket is canceled midway without a valid reason, the fee should remain non-refundable.

  7. This approach would reduce spam and unnecessary traffic while attracting serious and premium buyers to the platform.

Suggestions for the current SWAPD.CO forum:

  1. The Buyer Requests section should be improved by dividing it into 4–5 proper categories so buyers can post requests in more relevant sections.

  2. More service categories should be introduced, such as Video Editing, Social Media Management, and a dedicated “$100 GIG” section where all services are offered at a fixed $100 price point.

  3. Let’s get rid of BIG-4 Monopoly. The current 30-day Main Page pinned posts should be reconsidered. Instead, they could be replaced with 10-day pinned posts offered at a fixed price. If slots are occupied, sellers can wait for their turn. This would allow more sellers to gain visibility and create a fairer opportunity for everyone instead of the same major sellers dominating exposure due to larger budgets.

I will share more suggestions below as well….

100% support these changes - I’ve also noticed a lot more higher tier users unable to deliver on services since I primarily deal with diamond + members I want to say 80% of my recent tickets have not been completed which sucks since I need to go back to clients to explain why something took forever and then didn’t work

I also like the idea of real qualified sellers being notified - I’m not sure if I saw it but that should be based on ticket completion rate as in you need to have 75%+ success rate to be notified for services

That would also avoid users taking tickets that they’re not fully sure they can complete

I agree that @SWAPD needs stronger quality control before it turns into another oversaturated freelance marketplace. The focus should stay on trust, verified expertise, and protecting buyer experience instead of simply maximizing signup numbers.

Suggestions:

• Introduce mandatory proof of work or past delivery verification before sellers can post in premium service categories

• Add a seller performance score based on completed tickets, disputes, refunds, and buyer satisfaction instead of relying on self-claimed success rates

• Create a probation period for new sellers where listing limits are restricted until they complete successful deals

• Improve buyer request visibility with smart category matching and instant notifications for trusted sellers

• Instead of country-wide removals, consider stricter KYC, manual approvals, or risk scoring systems to target bad actors more accurately

• Add penalties for fake claims, failed deliveries, and excessive inbox spam to reduce marketplace noise

• Introduce “Verified Expert” badges only for sellers with proven long-term consistency and real case studies

• Remove Best Offer pricing but allow transparent price ranges to keep flexibility while improving trust and analytics

• Limit the number of active listings per seller to reduce spam and copy-paste services

• Reward high-performing sellers with reduced fees, better visibility, or priority placement instead of purely monetizing listings

• Create separate featured groups/tags/categories for elite sellers such as “Unbans Best Performers” or “Top Trusted Sellers” where only consistently successful and verified providers are listed

Thanks
@ZKO

Most of the things you suggested @ZKO requires immense manpower. Not possible. We are already stretched thin.

I like this though, we are working on concepts already.

All this is the SMALLEST “problem”. The biggest gap is in PRICE. @SWAPD is FLOODED with $5–10 selling items which easily can be sold for $5–10k, and I’m not even kidding. We spoke about this last year. I saw people competing with me only with price, until I sold 10 jobs and earned 50k, while they sold 100 and earned 5k. That ruins the business on the maximum level, in my opinion. Sales are not dropping, people are just going insanely low just to sell anything…

And maybe automatically unlist threads if people are not online on Swapd for 30 days. Then automatically relist if they are online on Swapd again

Harsh but my major points are should stop sign ups or atleast replies / topic creation from new users / sellers, from few specific countries we are talking about and implement better and stronger checks for this group of users to qualify to do that. Despite current filters and checks like @Alpha said, on most buyers request, there’d 4-5 “Yes i can do” replies from such users within minutes.

Onboard more mods if required, just to moderate listings and knock off low quality stuff

Push quality sellers and services more, give their listings more visibility or tags, so buyers see more credibility in that, explore better ideas to do this.

Reaching out to old users / buyers who are not much active on swapd anymore, we need more buyers on this platform vs sellers

Absolutely agree with @TheSolomon on this, personally experienced buyers inquiring me this week, service that goes for say $2k, instead of negotiating it to 1800-1600, buyer says xxx seller offered me for 500, can you match that…this just kills the market, everyone keeps undercutting everyone, even if they are unable to deliver, buyer loses energy and motivation trying cheaper alternatives and failing, eventually generating $0 revenue for quality sellers and swapd.

Working on this.

Another thing lacking is swapd should invest more into marketing. Thats how you get more quality members.

Pay influencers or ads on webmaster forums to push

Tried on a small scale. Believe it or not, influencers are at risk pushing SWAPD. The videos got deleted because there are some people out there reporting those influencers “FOR PUSHING ILLEGAL SOCIAL ACCOUNT SELLING SITES”.

Most forums have a “we don’t run ads for other forums” policy. :D
