This right here is actually really, really helpful!

This is slowly being patched. I have seen a number of accounts who I know are Meta Verified and their followers have disappeared (ie: it says only @USERNAME can see all the followrs/or 25K others). It’ll be impossible to tell who is Legacy verified for accounts verified after February 2023.

Can you show me an example because I haven’t seen any account like that so far

Like this account below, it’s Meta Verified but their account followers cannot be all viewed (just like Legacy Verified):

I have been seeing a lot more Meta Verified Accounts that have had their followers being hidden and only viewable to the account owner, just like legacy verified accounts. The only true way to know if someone is legacy verified now would be to make sure they are verified before February 2023

I can see all his followers. I don’t know why you can’t see it

You mustn’t have the new update or Instagram is yet to update their app for your country/device. If I see some like Legacy Verified while others don’t appear like that, this will definitely happen to all Meta Verified profiles. It’s a good ish method now but like I said, it’s slowly being patched.

My guess is that they will also ask Legacy Verified profiles to pay the fee eventually, which is why they are doing this so it’s almost impossible to know who is legacy verified vs. Meta Verified. The date of verification will be the only indicator

1- If it is Verified on February 2023 or afterwards, most likely it is Meta Verified.
2- Google his/her name if you dont find any press then it is Meta Verified.

I know the way.

If an account is Meta Verified you can make reset password. If it is legacy verified you cannot make reset password.
