I submitted a request to remove an Instagram account that was infringing my trademark, which ended in my favor. I then wanted to use my trademark as my username (the username that was on the now-disabled account) but Instagram won’t let me.
I replied to the email I received advising me that the content had been successfully removed asking for the transfer of the username but got no response and initiated several further reports referring to the number of the successful report, always asking about the transfer, but I keep getting the automated response “It doesn’t seem that you’re reporting a violation of your intellectual property rights.”
Would anyone be able to inform me about the common timelines after which a username becomes available? For example I know about the 14 days for name change (I know that they may not apply to this situation, since the account was essentially banned but I’d love to try anyway.)
or
Would anyone be able to ““unlock”” that username / help me claim it using my Trademark?
