Do you know why dropping your prices too low is a bad idea, especially for you?
It’s very simple. I’ll tell you a situation I know best, and you can find your own version of it.
Last year, when I joined the site, I started offering Reddit post removal services for around $1500 to $2000 minimum. At that time, the site was making good money, and so was I. With just 20 to 50 completed tickets, I generated over $10,000 in profit for the platform FEES in a short time. Everything was going strong until around June or July.
That’s when another person showed up. He also started removing Reddit posts fast, but at a ridiculously low price, three to five times cheaper. He even promoted himself with slogans like “don’t pay more than you should.”
Of course, it worked for a while. He had to complete 100 tickets just to make what I made from 20. And it lasted for about three to four months. If he take same money like me he will probably earn golden million faster than anyone.
Then, in November, it all stopped. The method got patched by Reddit admins. The “Reddit filter” method was no longer working.
What caused this problem?
Too many people gained access. You can’t destabilize a system like that. If anyone can suddenly delete Reddit posts for cheap, then everyone will try to do it, and fast. Eventually, Reddit notices that something is going on, something they don’t fully understand yet, but enough to raise red flags.
Scam-reporting admins from subs like r/SCAMS start calling it a brigade deletion scheme. That triggers alarms. Suddenly, Reddit changes the code itself. Once that happens, the deletion success rate drops by 10k percent, and the method is officially off.
Let me be clear, even when I was using that method, I used it occasionally, because it wasn’t true deletion. It was more of a temporary flag that any admin could restore later anyway.
So what’s the lesson here?
Don’t drop prices to the point that anyone can access post deletion.
That’s when the floodgates open. People want to do mass deletions for cheap, Reddit notices the pattern, and your method gets patched.
You’re not just smashing your competition by going cheap, you’re destroying your own business in the process.
Work smart and charge more. That’s what gives you long-term income. Nobody is stupid enough to let you ruin their platform without a fight. Methods get patched only when they become cheap and overused. If client wont pay WAIT , he will just give him a time. Dont rush
I know we always can find new methods, inam also example in the past couple of months, I’ve found new Reddit deletion methods. I even managed to remove some posts from subreddits like r/SCAMS. Yes, actual removals. And for that, I’m grateful and satisfied.
Just a small piece of advice. The cheaper you go, the more you destroy your own leverage. Aim for both quality and quantity, not just the quantity . And this is for all PLATFORMS, this example its not about Reddit, its about all, this is true reason why method got patched
This applies to any platform.
