You can no longer use PayPal on SWAPD!

Yeah they will take it, they have a new system called AUP damages.
If you don’t have any experience with limited accounts as of recent your opinion means zilch, nadda.

First of all PayPal has no rights to hold people’s money. For what they’re charging fees than?

PAYPAL RESTORED OUR ACCOUNT

Despite not giving us the option to do it. We never (couldn’t) filed an appeal. They basically screwed with us and then decided to restore our account. Today, we received this email:

No, we will not reinstate PayPal, ever.

We had to pay devs to remove all traces of PP from our website, not re-doing that again so that they could block us in a few months. We also had to cover hundreds of dollars for bank wire fees (to cover PP payouts). We refuse to live with the stress of having our account limited at any time. Even if it means losing customers, we will not cave and give PayPal any business. The only good news out of this is that we’ve recovered our lost 5004 USD.

To recap, goodbye PayPal. I hope your company tanks.

lol is that the average transaction on the far right? $399-$414?

Correct. First column is the yearly volume, the second is the number of transactions, and the average payment price.

Interesting read!

Its stock price has fallen 52.2% since January. The market value has decreased by nearly $114 billion during that period to $104.3 billion.

But as if all these challenges weren’t enough, PayPal just created a big problem all on its own. Documents were just leaked in which the company says it will impose financial penalties on customers who violate its policy.

Any misinformation would be penalized with a $2,500 fine. Basically, if a client is found guilty of four acts of misinformation, they could be fined $10,000. PayPal would withdraw this amount directly from the customer’s account.

“Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy constitutes a violation of the PayPal User Agreement and may subject you to damages, including liquidated damages of 2,500.00 U.S. dollars per violation, which may be debited directly from your PayPal account(s)," the company added.

What is interesting is that it is marked “Last Updated on November 3, 2022”. This suggests that the policy was only due to come into effect in just under a month.

PP got so much heat they have started backpedaling, calling it a “mistake.”

Maybe that’s why our ban was reversed.

throwback to when a loser 13 year old used his moms paypal to buy a $3 item from me, she chargedback and both my personal and business account with hundreds if not thousands of legitimate payments got closed.

had to wait 6 months to get my funds lmao

Give Payoneer a chance.

Give a chance to a 3rd party company to hold YOUR funds? Where do we not have control over it? No thanks.

Didn’t our stories from Paxful, PayPal, Wise, Binance, BlockChain teach us anything? PayPal was the last straw. Never, ever, will another company hold your funds.

I think lot of Swapd members were using only PayPal for sending and receiving payments.
