We have not pushed business very hard at all for 2022, this has been and always was a passion project that the 2 owners, one being myself, no longer have time for unfortunately. It is a fully built brand that is very well known in the mma space. Honestly it’s probably not hard to figure out what account this is if you do some digging, but happy to share in a DM.
Revenue for the company came from multiple sources:
Affiliate revenue from sportsbooks and espn PPVs.
Shopify ecom sales from tee shirts and posters
Used to have a monthly subscription that would be fairly easy to boot back up
Paid promotions from branded content partnerships

Yes that is correct, we are an ESPN affiliate and earn commissions by promoting ESPN+ as well as the PPVs. PPVs are what drive more commissions. We promote the PPVs very casually and it works quite well using the following strategies:
We add a countdown to the big upcoming PPVs in our link in bio with the featured main event poster. The button says “Stream PPV”. Then over the course of the month leading up to the PPV this button will get hundreds or even thousands of clicks. The affiliate click window is 21 days, so everyone who clicked that button within the 21 days prior to the paperview, if any of them purchase the fights on that same device, we earn a commission.
We also post an instagram story with the swipe up/link to the paperview the day before so that our audience sees it during the 24 hours before the fight. Again, anyone that clicks on the link is now cookied and if they buy the fight (which many of our followers are going to do regardless) then we earn a commission.
We also used to offer a complimentary UFC calendar so that people knew exactly when all of the fights are, and we embedded the affiliate link into the events so that the link was directly inside of the calendar event on everyone’s phone, as well as sending out an email newsletter with the event details and affiliate link the afternoon of the event. This all contributes to affiliate income.
We also are partnered with 2 major sportsbooks and find similar creative ways to drive our followers to those sources as well.
These links are also incorporated into our website, which is a online magazine style media site. For example these are all the articles published just within the past couple of days. This is all done automatically completely hands free. It can be ramped up for more articles or slowed down based on your preference.
Are you referring to revenue earned? It will take me a little while to compile all of that. But here’s a rough breakdown.
Our total revenue in the last 36 months, majority being during 2020, I would say is probably a little under 100k. I would say maybe 12-15% of that was from affiliate revenue. MyBookie being the largest source of affiliate income.
The majority of income however, was earned from our MMA Picks service which was a subscription. We had a few hundred members paying monthly and that generated the additional 60k or so. Everything is in place to start it back up as well as the list of customers and leads and if the new owner wanted to pursue it we can help get it started back up.
It’s a one time commission. However MyBookie is the super lucrative one. Once you refer a customer, you earn from that customer forever, and if they are someone who bets on the fights frequently, you can earn quite a bit.
Oh and since you’d be an affiliate you save $10 on all PPV fights since you earn that back, so that’s always been kind of nice haha. I watch all of the fights and have followed the sport for a long time.
For Mybookie they offer Tiered Revenue Sharing between 25% - 35%, which is quite nice. It’s nothing
crazy but here’s a screenshot of just what was earned this past month or so, and even already for the first few days of March. This is with zero effort what so ever. We’ve done nothing recently to promote MyBookie and it still pays out from previous efforts.
Regarding your Conor question, the PPV prices are always the same. Now, the UFC did just increase their PPV prices, and so the affiliate commissions went up $5 (to what I showed you in the previous PPV screenshot). Conor himself earns higher payouts for PPV points, but that is unrelated to affiliates like you and I. The PPVs always cost the same throughout the year, which is currently $74.99
