Advice for Monetising IG

Hello!

I run some Instagram pages and have +500K followers all together. I wanted to ask if anyone is able to PM me to give advice on how I can monetize them and what they recommend. I’m aware that most people don’t want to give out info like this (unless they are selling a course lol). Message me and I can send you the @ of the larger pages and you can share some knowledge. Also please don’t say “sell your page”, I’m already aware of that option. Any knowledge is appreciated!

  1. Sell shoutouts or sponsored posts. Nearly all the sponsors even provide the image/content to post. You just have to take the money and post (This works with almost all types of pages. Easy and not much work involved on your part)

  2. Build an ecommerce store around your page, sell products. (I find this most profitable)

  3. Create a niche blog and send traffic to it using your page. The content needs to be engaging. (Personally I feel you need to be a good writer because if you outsource it will effect the $$ you take home)

  4. Similar to number 3, but create a yt channel and drive traffic to videos from your page. Use linkin.bio to share links. (Search up Cash cow youtube channels)

  5. Use ogads + instagram or clickfunnels + instagram. (Promoting affiliate links, I feel the payout is lower though as compared to other methods)

To be honest, it all depends on the quality of audience and engagement rate you have. I am not an IG expert by any means. These methods are most common.

This is my first time hearing about “cashcow” YT channels. Seems interesting but I believe that you need 10,000 subs to monetize your channel. But I will definitely keep this in mind.

4000 watch hours and 1000 subscribers is what you need for monetization. As you said you have about 500k followers.

Considering 2% engagement rate,10k likes per post and story views could be anywhere around 50k. Reaching monetization threshold shouldn’t be a big deal. You know about your numbers better, so decision is yours.

Note one thing that cash cow channel video creation takes time. A whiteboard animation and voiceover is what people generally use.

Shoutouts and sponsored posts are relatively easier among the mentioned methods. You could start it right away, just don’t go overboard. Too many shoutouts/sponsored posts will make you lose credibility.

I recommend combining multiple methods to get the most of your audience.
