We’re excited to announce a groundbreaking new perk for our Millionaire Club (MC) members: FULL Upsell Rights! Starting immediately, MC members will now have the ability to upsell services or products without being restricted by our combined services rules. This is a significant step forward, and we’re confident it will bring additional business to our community.

Why Are We Making This Change?

This decision was not made lightly. Here’s why we’re introducing this experimental perk:

  1. This is an Experimental Perk
    First and foremost, this is an experimental feature and is subject to change if unforeseen issues arise. We’ll closely monitor its impact and gather feedback to ensure it benefits the entire community. Your input will be invaluable in shaping the future of this perk.

  2. Trust in Our Millionaire Club Members
    We have never had a problem with an MC member. Ever. These members have reached the highest levels on SWAPD because they consistently stick to their word, resolve issues professionally, and uphold the integrity of our platform. We fully trust them with this added responsibility.

    In the past, upselling was restricted because some users would upsell behind our backs, and when the supplier failed to deliver, the upseller would wash their hands of the deal, claiming, “It’s not my fault.” This created unnecessary complications. However, we are confident that our MC members will not do this. They understand the responsibility of being a middleman on SWAPD and will stand by their deals.

  3. Supporting New and Lesser-Known Members
    We believe this perk will also benefit new and lesser-known members. MC members have the credibility and reputation to sell services more easily, even at a premium. By carefully selecting their providers, MC members can help bring business to newer users who are working hard to establish themselves on SWAPD. This trickle-down effect will create more opportunities for everyone.

  4. Motivating Diamond Club Members
    We want to motivate our Diamond Club members to work harder and reach the Millionaire Club faster because this perk is worth fighting for! Many users are close to hitting $1 million in sales, and we hope this new perk will give them the extra push they need to achieve that milestone.

What Does This Mean for Millionaire Club Members?

As an MC member, you now have the freedom to:

  • Upsell services or products without limitations.
  • Take full responsibility for the deals you facilitate.
  • Help newer members by selecting them as providers, fostering growth across the platform.

A Note on the Future

This perk is being introduced on an experimental basis. If successful, we may extend similar privileges to SWAPD Partners in the near future. However, if any issues arise, we reserve the right to modify or reverse this decision.

Lots of new sellers who CAN deliver get bored with SWAPD because no one wants to buy from them. We’re willing to see if this perk will change things up.

This is strategic for sure, thanks for doing this. I think it will open many doors.

So just to be clear, in theory: (correct me if im wrong)

  1. I see a service from anyone (even better if they’re new)
  2. I make a listing and upsell/resell it (leveraging reputation to leverage deals)
  3. everyone wins

It’s hard to know who CAN deliver because so many of them can not. Ultimately, buyers can not try multiple different sellers because these repetitive failed attempts, and oftentimes even a single failed attempt, significantly strain client relations for buyers reselling off-site.

This move is likely very beneficial because it allows MC members to test the waters, find trusted service providers, and then resell services at a premium to buyers willing to pay for legitimate, near 100% success rates.
