Are Verified Twitter Accounts Sketchy To Buy?

Found a verified crypto account I want to buy. Guy wants $10k. Said he created it and he has OGE (Gmail) Don’t know if this is truth or not.

What are some things I should look out for?

My main concerns are it getting banned, suspended, taken back or something else.

Getting a verified Twitter account is nothing short of a risk… AI works very well and it won’t be long before you lose the badge.

For $10,000 you can legally buy a twitter verification including PR.

I certainly don’t have this view to sell the service. Just advice :crossed_fingers:

It has over 50k followers and they’re real. That’s why I’m so interested.

Getting verification badge taken off would obviously suck but I’m more worried about it getting banned, taken back, etc

Crypto accounts get banned regularly, even mine and accounts of my friends got suspended after a while, and it’s especially risky if they are in the NFT niche.

You should also check whether the OGE was actually used to create the account and even if it was, it’s still risky as Gmails are really easy to pull.

Should check to see that phone number is removed/swapped to yours and 2FA removed if activated. Twitter temporarily shadowbans an account if there’s no phone number associated, so I’m assuming there is one currently attached.

Once on the account swap to new email and should be good. Make sure the above is done before releasing transaction. As well go in Apps & Sessions to make sure there aren’t any active logins other than yours once the swap is made. Cheers
