How do I confirm if someone has made a ACH bank transfer or a bank wire transfer. Im afraid that someone can cash a fake cheque to my account and possibly scam me. Please educate me. I see alot of sellers offering bank wire as a payment method. How do you tell?

you can request a trace on your transaction using the bank’s SWIFT code . A SWIFT code is an ID that banks use when sending wire transfers.
request PDF of transaction
ask him to print Transaction detail and send you a screenshot
if payment was sent by Swapd then don’t worry about anything
