What is the best offline wallet to store crypto and why?
Would rather have full trust of the crypto assets rather than an online exchange able to seize the coin at any moment.
All feedback/ supporting statements welcomed!
We use Ledger X, but I also have a Trezor that I didn’t try yet.
The upsides:
- You can’t get your money frozen like on online wallets.
- The ledger live app is so easy to use.
- You can exchange crypto but Ledger uses Changelly, and they’re a little expensive.
- They have a mobile app too, so easy to use and keep track of things.
- Your money is safe.
- Even if you lose it (but you have the master key), you just buy a new one and enter the key, and everything returns.
Downsides:
- No real exchange app on it.
- The cheaper Ledgers like nano-S can only store 3x diff cryptos.
- Synchronizing sometimes takes 4-10 minutes, it’s annoying.

So would you not suggest the backup pack for ledger since you can just use the master key? Also what are cheaper exchanges than changelly?
You can buy/sell crypto via these two apps from it, but I haven’t tried:
Also, Ledger partnered with VISA and soon will offer regular debit cards hooked up to your USDT account 
Use it like any bank account card.
