He is allowed to make purchases without having his ID verified.
I understand your point. That’s why I suggested verifying the ID to ensure people take him seriously and engage in meaningful conversations with him.
As far as I know you can not open a ticket with someone who isn’t ID verified.
Holy moly
And ends up saying
“I will let you know soon” ?
Sorry to burst your bubble, but buyers can open tickets without jumping through the hoops of verifying their IDs.
@Forest I wouldn’t. But I would happily open tickets with those who did.
@charizard I’m getting into reselling with a business partner soon. I need to know various answers to questions from sellers because I need to know how to structure things, and more importantly I need to know questions that I know I will be asked by clients. I’m also exploring learning how to eventually transition into growing accounts myself. Sorry for the repeat PM as well; I’m juggling a lot and speaking with many sellers.
And for the record, this thread I made wasn’t directed at anyone in particular at all. It seems anyone I spoke to seems to think it’s directed at them. It’s not. Charizard, Comfy, etc. answered and were great. Unfortunately, many sellers I sent an initial PM to didn’t reply. And no, I never ask that many questions to someone right off the bat and it’s unfair of anyone to suggest I did. I ask an initial few questions (always including “do you allow resellers?”) and I see that someone is honest, competent, and is happy to reply, because I plan on reselling through them.
I am new to this and am juggling a lot in my personal life too.
Take care!
