Countries trying to ban crypto and bitcoin saying it's because of criminal activities is just nonsense isn't it?

A good read on the topic if you have the time

Such nonsense efforts from big countries like China, India to ban crypto is so disappointing, I really wish they spend time regulating it instead of banning it entirely.

I think most of banks are afraid of crypto because it will replace crypto bank in the future. They are trying to ban crypto. Why ? They will avoid future business bankruptcy. The problem isn’t in criminal activities  the problem is in business

Because they can’t tax it, or view it

Been in crypto since 2015 from the inside, I can say that some sort of regulations are NEEDED

It’s too much of a no man’s land or Wild West, it’s too much user unfriendly still and too many hackers/scammers around for it to become mainstream and widely used, especially for older generations

In 2017 there was the ICOs wave, empty box companies raising tens of millions of dollars

That â– â– â– â–  destroyed crypto

Now it’s happening again with “■■■■/meme coins” where a 15 yo developer can copy/paste a token smart contract and launch its own
