Has anyone noticed that when they collab with a page with a reels bonus that their views decrease significantly? My meme page was pulling on average 200k-300k video views with no collabs, now with collabs we’re lucky if we break 100k views, with some videos staying below 50k views. These are atrocious views compared to what we normally get, and is very annoying because we could be making a lot more money. Has anyone else experienced this and have you found a way to fix this and get the views back up?
What I’ve noticed is that the timing of the collab matters. I run a couple different pages and I only accept the collaboration request once the post is performing well enough for me to consider it viral. That concept probably doesn’t work with your situation since I’m assuming you’re using a smaller page to collab with a larger account right?
if posting time and content are the same and it’s still performing terribly, I would suggest using different sets of hashtags and possibly posting at different times. That has helped me in the past getting activity back.
