Clubhouse has projected many unknown artists into almost overnight fame.

Justin Williams, better known as @MegaMeezy on Twitter and Instagram, has made his mark on the industry in just a short time. Meezy was recently featured on the 2021 list of Billboard 100’s Power Players. Meezy is best known for helping rap artist 21 Savage transition into the film industry by securing a deal that will allow him to create the soundtrack for the upcoming Saw sequel spiral.

Not only has Meezy helped 21 become a crossover artist, but he also ensures that philanthropy is a part of his client’s image. On August 1st, the 6th annual back-to-school drive was held in Decatur, Georgia, which provided the local community with laptops, masks, and other essential school supplies.

Justin(@stoundmoundmeezy) has been a clubhouse member since October 1st of 2020, making him a pioneer of the recently popular app. After being featured as the temporary face of Clubhouse, his account grew to over 400 thousand followers by August 6th in 2021. Since then, he’s maintained close to that amount, with his Twitter and Instagram following rising to 18.5k and 61.3k after being featured as a Clubhouse Icon.

The nature of Clubhouse highlights conversation skills that lead to more engagement on other platforms.

When it comes to the newest social media platform known as ClubHouse, one thing influencers and rising artists can agree on is that this unusual form of social media has reached uncharted territory and allowed people to create a following like never before. Clubhouse is different because it’s a voice app that allows people to start and enter rooms. Users may raise their hand if they want to sit on stage and participate in the dialogue or remain in the audience to listen. Other features include a picture of your face along with space for a Bio and links to other social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Linked In. No other app encourages dialogue the same way clubhouse does. People can connect a voice to a face and a brand. Most influencers can utilize this to build a tribe of followers who repeatedly come back for scheduled rooms and contribute to conversations that work as a thread of day-to-day topics. Room titles attract and entice people to share their personal opinions about various subjects. If someone does not like what’s being discussed, they can use the “leave quietly” button. Most users let Clubhouse know their interests and easily find rooms and clubs that align with those interests in their personalized “Hallway.” Like any other app, a unique algorithm caters to the individual’s likes and dislikes. Clubhouse users can ask to be shown less or more of a specific topic or type of room.

Clubhouse is the best way to reach people from all over the world in a very personal manner. You can communicate with people from different countries through an app without any extra charges or fees. Clubhouse is a tailored experience because people can come and go into rooms as they please, so if someone is in the room listening to you, it’s because they want to be there. Loyalty is buildable on an app like Clubhouse because of how personable it is. If you have a brand, talent, or great ideas, you could become the next Clubhouse Icon by gaining a following and bringing something positive that people enjoy and are eager to engage with.
