Facebook page issue

I’ve got a bit of an issue with a Facebook group as I’m unfamilar with Facebook, and only have experience with Instagram. A company that I’m affiliated with are having a bit of an issue with an ex employee editing the Facebook posts. Basically, the person that is editing the page has been removed from the page, and doesn’t have an admin role within the page. However, despite this they are the original creator of the page. This is because this person was delicated the responsibility of creating the page on the companies behalf. However, now the user is editing posts without consent.

This user is not listed as an admin within the pages roles, and other than being the original creator doesn’t have access. The concern is, this user that is making unauthorised edits, is no longer part of the company, and could cause the company harm.

What’s the best course of action regarding securing this Facebook page, and preventing these edits. Possibly, transfering ownership of the Facebook page to the owner of the company?

Of course, we’ve already gone through the support forms, and provided all evidence. However, this is the upmost urgency that this is rectified to prevent abuse.

Get them to check on desktop in page admin roles that the employee didn’t attach a business manager, sounds like thats the case.

It seems this is what has been done;

Employee has “claimed” the page themselves, and is now a “business admin”. Thus, having access to the site, and can do whatever they like. The business itself, are still admins of the page, but can’t remove this user due to them being the business admin.

If I’m not mistaken, nothing can be done about this? Except for a trademark claim, which would likely take months.
