I got the one-week message that says: Stories from your Page are not being shown in News Feed. This could be due to activities from your Page that don’t comply with Facebook’s policies. This limit is temporary and expires Monday, November 11, 2019 at 5:05 AM.
This message renews for another week at the end of each week. I usually get 1-2 days when the restriction is lifted, and I don’t post. Nevertheless, it comes back again in 2 days for another week. Facebook Ad Support is telling me nonsense and now they’re not responding. Appeal is unanswered.
Has anyone actually gotten their page reach back after this kind of episode?
Update: my appeal has apparently worked. The block on page reach was lifted and the red message doesn’t appear at the top of the page. I hope it’s not back again in 2 days or I’ll just lose it. I got a template answer from FB. No real reason. I was terribly persistent, but polite. This is the beginning of week 5. Crazy situation. I’ve been building the page for 3 years.
And now, just a short time later, the restriction and red message are back. This is even though Support told me they successfully forward the case to their supervisor and seemed to say the block would be removed now. So, I’m screwed.
I don’t know. What I said was that my friend was added back as an admin on an official Netflix TV show page (that wasn’t unpublished), which resulted in a different (personal owned) Page being republished.
I have more information. It’s rather shocking. I spoke with a supervisor.
I was told to remove ALL nude images, including art works, paintings, sculpture. No nude anything can be posted to Facebook. If you haven’t noticed, the Community Standards have changed and I don’t see any exception for works of art.
I was then told not to disrespect religions. I’m not kidding. I need my page back, so I asked for more details. I was directed to a silly post a with a “This is Sparta” face superimposed on Buddha. I was told that this was disrespectful of religion and I must not do that. I asked whether I am allowed to criticize religions. Basically, no.
Welcome to ChristBook. Nothing edgy. Nothing remotely referring to sex. Welcome to 1955.
I think rules are only applied to “bigger” pages. Once I hit 50k or something, I was forced to provide more ID, if I remember, and add a mobile phone for SMS verification.
The whole chat was unreal. Like, are you serious? Yup. Serious.
