There should be a badge for banned users similar to the Safety Concern badge
Sometimes you take 5 minutes to read a topic by a user, only to realize that they’re banned when trying to DM them
Edit: or make all of their topics unlisted so they don’t appear on Swapd at all
If you click on their name you can see they are banned.
I agree with @Fastlane - problem is that there is no reason to click on a name when you’re interested in a topic/offer/or even to express interest in the offered service. Would save a lot time if there is a badge!
