Currently, Facebook is allowing name change to “any name” regardless of whether it is similar to the old name or not.
Try it and let me know.

EDIT: I tried it on another page and it worked. I don’t know why it worked on this page and not on a few others.

not working on either of my pages, probably workable on smaller pages, one I tried on is a relatively bigger one.
It worked on a 34.000 likes page for me.
that’s why i guess, i tried on a 600k page.

Worked for me
Changed two pages around 500k, not sure about bigger . I was able to do it on 6 pages at once.
All of my pages have more than 1 admin, yet it worked without issue.
Instantly. Managed to do it on 6 pages in a span of a few minutes
Guessing this wouldn’t be advisable on verified page?
Just tried on a verified page and it went through without any issues.
