Just like iOS devices , Android phones offer the option to install any website as an app, complete with instant push notifications to keep you updated. Please note that our old official app will no longer receive support, so we recommend that Android users switch to the HomeScreen app method explained below.
Apple’s latest release of iOS and iPadOS introduces a feature that allows web apps added to your device’s home screen to send mobile web push notifications. Compatible websites like SWAPD can now function much like dedicated iOS apps, offering instant push notifications, a dedicated app icon, quick loading, and a clean interface without the URL bar.
It virtually functions the same as the app, and there no easily accessible URL bar. Regardless, it’s a lot easier to copy the number out of the first message of the checkout bot than it is to copy it out of the URL bar (on mobile) as it’s quite finicky. On desktop it’s great since you just double click the ticket number in the URL.
