What does this mean? Please, help!!!

I have a fresh account whose username I want to swap to my main. My main account username tab shows that I can change to my old username within 14 days which is IG’s policy. See picture below:

My fresh account with the username I want does not show any such message on the username change tab. See picture below:

Upon changing the username I want from my fresh account, will the desired username become available for all to claim without the 14 day reservation period or will it become reserved for the previous owner as the username change from the previous owner to my freshie has not been 14 days yet.

How long should you have had the username for it to be reserved for you for 14 days when you try changing it?

Has anyone experienced this before?

If there is no 14 days warning, it will be released when you change the username. It will be available instantly. If it’s a generic username, don’t try it manually. You should use a turbo service.
