In solidarity with Ukraine, SWAPD ceases to do business with Russian and Belarusian clients, effective immediately

The problem is not Russians but the Russian Government. There are even several protests inside Russia against the war.

The people are responsible for their governments. They should revolt and stop the madness.

@SWAPD you should close the thread.
It is a decision well made and should be left at that without the pointless talk.

People don’t care until the danger comes to them next.

I do care even though it doesn’t affect me personally. It is an attack on democracy and Russia is commiting war crimes…

Say that to the people in North Korea, good luck!

Russia has been saying to NATO to not increase military presence around their borders since the early 2000’s yet they completely ignore Russia and do so.

Now imagine if Russia, China, and Iran had military bases at USA’s borders and they try to get Mexico to join their Anti-USA coalition. Yeah, I bet USA won’t respond lightly to that.

But yeah Russia is always the bad guy & western countries are saints

Hope the world sees peace one day …thoughts and prayers to the innocent people all over the world.

I absolutely agree with that. The west has been poking Russia for years, and they’re to blame as well. But on the other hand, every sovereign nation should have the right to join alliances, especially countries that have been promised protection if they give up their nukes (which Ukraine did). Please don’t make Russia the victim here and read up on post-WW2 history. Currently, there is a madman controlling Russia who won’t step down, and now he is on an offensive. How many times did Putin change the law to stay in power now?

We don’t want any money flowing in or out of our accounts (any accounts) from Russia or Belarus. For one, it jeopardizes our company and its finances. Secondly, we’re a private company, and we choose to block them as a show of support, no matter how minuscule or politically motivated this move is.

I completely agree with you but while we’re at it, did you guys block any transactions to Israel? Who is illegally occupying Palestine?

No, but we make fun of @RandyMarsh as much as we can, as a sign of support.

Oh so was it usa who put atomic missiles in cuba threating world anihilation?
Russia has 2/3 of the world and wants more

I don’t really understand the whole issue of reclaiming Soviet Union-era land. That’s like letting your domain expire and getting mad because someone else snagged it

To my knowledge, I’m assuming Ukraine declared independence after collapse of the Soviet Union

Appreciate the effort @SWAPD its by far the right thing to do

Let’s just say the guy is a little unstable… to say the least

I think the comment had been taken wrong. I was talking to an acquaintance in russia and this was his stand about the chaos going around.

I totally stand in solidarity with Ukraine and Ukrainians and will never support Russia for this but imagine calling every russian responsible for the war. I think that wouldn’t be just.

PS, I do support swapd’s move for the following reason.

But I don’t agree with

I would delete his name/pic
Might get him in trouble

reading this thread is like a history lesson in its self, but I completely understand why a private business would choose to stop transactions coming from Russia.

We actually had a @putin on our website…
