Saw a user offering this as a service but rather than waiting you can do it yourself

Simply when you click forgot password add the username and add a # after it

Example: username

You write username# and click send :+1:

I was doing it for free you clown :clown_face: , when the method gets patched now and people who got a disabled page and forgot their pass won’t be able to do it since it will be patched i hope you’ll still be a hero for releasing the method.

Also you can only do this trick for accounts who don’t have a linked phone. I know how to do it for accounts with linked phone. Show me you know how :clown_face:

So if someone has a disabled account but there was no phone linked, they can reset password by typing in “username#” and it’ll send them a text or what happens next?

For disabled accounts it will send them an email to reset password
