Not sure if this is the right section , @Administrators correct me on it if I am. Is there anything you can use to see who doesn’t follow you back on instagram? Or are all those apps do the activity check and log out?

Yes there’re multiple apps on play store but you’ll need to login and provide full access to them, later on you can check all of your followers list among your followings and also can unfollow them in single click (this is available in few of them).
But such apps might use your data, be careful doing this.

I used unfollow easy 7-8 months ago but I uninstalled and logged out all sessions as I noticed some unusual activity
