We’ve rolled out a new transparency feature called SWAPD User Locations, inspired by X’s “About this account”.
This feature displays two location indicators on user profiles and user cards:
- Country of Registration
- Current Login Country
The goal is simple: provide users with additional context when interacting, negotiating, and transacting on SWAPD.
Who will see it
SWAPD User Locations is visible for:
- Regular Members
- Premium Members
- Safety Concern Members
- VIP Members
To maintain privacy and trust standards, this feature is not shown for:
- Diamond Club
- Millionaire Club
- SWAPD Partners
Where it appears
You’ll see the location indicators:
- On user profiles
- On user cards across the platform
Why we built it
This feature helps:
- Add transparency
- Spot unusual account behavior
- Make more informed decisions
Location data is informational only and does not affect trust levels, permissions, or account standing.
We’ll continue improving SWAPD with tools that balance transparency, safety, and user privacy.
