How to download this data ?
login to instagram app > settings > security> download data.
I believe if you change pass and email and then username and then disable then the previous owner has a much lower chance of regaining access. You do not need to change username but Also turning two factor off but putting a New number then using the two factor authentication application method instead of phone number authentication method. That then puts the previous owner onto the Instagram help centre instead of the forum or pop up. Disabling it after those steps shall help you if you are worried with purchasing a nee account. Hope this helps in some way.
I thinks its inportant I do have an insta account that I bought ages ago and is currently disabled and cant seem to find the seller neither access to the OG the account was created with.
However I do have the current email but cant seem to get the reset password to this email.
Changing the password and email address and temporarily deactivating the account?
I do not think this method works, the support screen opens with instagram servers and your device’s trust in the direction of the package transfer you have made with the Instagram servers.
The changes you have made will not work, as they will not change the verified (past) packages between the server and the device.
If you manually delete the account permanently and tell the “Instagram account has been permanently disabled” form that this was done by malicious people, when the account is reactivated, the previous device cannot access the support screen, but this is not a strict guarantee method because there is a possibility that the account will not be reactivated.
If you want to be the absolute owner of an account, the device or devices that are trusted in the systems must be completely owned by you.
@SWAPD
To be more precise: I will make the Instagram server talk to the device …
—— Main device (cookies are not deleted): Hi, the account of the owner of my device has been hacked, can you help me?
—— The answer of the server (Instagram server): Ah, we have made the wrong mistakes in the past due to such situations and we handed the accounts into the wrong hands and this has done us a lot but the engineer who designed me told me to review historical data to help the right person. Let me take a look at this … (past cookies) Let’s take a look at the cookies … Yes here it is and what is it? This guy has been asking me to log into his account for 2 years (I used a sample date) and what is that? e-mail, phone number, account password everything has been changed! yes the guy was really hacked.
—— Instagram security server: Yes buddy, I have confirmed that your account has been hacked and you are the real account owner, here is the specially created form for you to recover your account or here is your account and if you encounter a problem please be careful, contact me again.
—— Main Device (with all data deleted): Hey man I got hacked!
—— Instagram security server: Let’s take a look at this? (Past cookies), Error message! (no association data found with this device!) Something the user has never accessed his account before (all historical data has been deleted) Hey I don’t know you, you’re trying to mislead me, liar and rogue scammer! (No support provided)
I agree, I believe without having the device of the previous owner the risk shall always be there as the phone number now stays within the system longer then the email that was previously used unless the oge was connected to the account from the beginning. So the issue is really it all depends on who you purchase from. I will say I believe it takes anywhere from 1/3 months for the previous device to be wiped off the system from that account and also I believe the change of country shown on the account is a method of indication of when the transition has been made, from personal experience of purchasing accounts within the niche I specialise in. Keep note this may not work for everyone. I usually change the email three times and password 3 times the last email change is done 5/7 days after purchasing, however this may still not work as I said before previous owner depending on who you purchase from may still pull a dirty one out of the bag in regards of the account pull back. Also depends on when they do it from what I have seen this is done within the first month of sale. After that they risk the chance of seeing the help centre pop up.
I agree but what makes sense right now is the deletion of application data and the delivery of the account by OGE mail.
I will get back to this issue on Monday, thanks for all your help guys.
Back at my desk and back to the discussion.
So, to recap, we should make the sellers make a video of them removing the app data, or does the “this wasn’t me” void that data? Did you test that, @bunny?
I logged into my account with my friend’s device (never used it before) and disabled the main device for active sessions (myself) but that didn’t work.
I was able to access support forms and recovery screen from my main device where I was trying to log in. I went back to my account (from my friend’s device) and my account did not allow it to enter.
It was flagged as suspicious transaction and asked to verify its identity. There was no problem with my main device. @SWAPD tell me your think?
So removing the section doesn’t wipe the app data? FML. We had other users report otherwise.
Agreed, this should be kept and tested within a small circle.
You can make the right decision by trying it yourself. I said my experience
Yes I will test tomorrow because I am having a hard time understanding you
Haha for the better or for the bad?
Do you want to try I will give you the account and you will kick me and keep the account safe.
So let’s test if I have access to additional options for the account.
Yes, please PM me the details.
