How does the 7-day grace period affect this? Whatâs the grace period for if buyers are unable to open disputes? Itâs still a bit confusing and unclear
I donât see how itâs conflicting.
It says starting a dispute is impossible and requests for disputes will be ignored. If thatâs the case, what is the point of the grace period?
If someone buys something in this category and isnât happy on day 1, day 3, or day 6, are they able to open a dispute, despite the rules saying they canât?
After a ticket has been closed as successful. So again, whatâs the problem?
The rules/guidelines do not specify that a dispute can be opened before or after the ticket is marked successful. It just says itâs impossible to dispute if a buyer is unhappy, etc. (see below)
" Buyer Rules
Please note that starting disputes for things purchased in this category is impossible. You cannot purchase something here, decide it wasnât worth it, and expect a refund. Buyersâ only option in transactions where theyâre unhappy is to leave the seller proper SWAPD feedback. SWAPD staff will ignore any dispute requests for things purchased in this category, so proceed at your own risk."
So if someone sells mentoring to help with rendering services on Real Estate, Ecom, or Twitter and is given valuable information such as emails, templates, etc., how can they start a dispute (even if before the ticket closes) if the rules say they canât? And if your saying a buyer CAN start a dispute before the ticket closes 1) thatâs not in the terms/rules and 2) on what basis can they start a dispute? Can they get valuable info such as emails and processes and say it didnât work? Who decides that?
Iâm not trying to be difficult, but this is a big issue and the terms are not 100% clear.
The extended grace period is/was implemented to combat the alarming amount of scams taking place in the mentorship category. In short, to stop the sale of NON WORKING METHODS! Itâs ONLY MEANT TO COMBAT NON-WORKING METHODS. Unhappy buyers, buyers with remorse, or mind changes, are still not allowed to back out.
Jesus Christ.
