Meta Verification Question

What’s up guys,

I had a client today that couldn’t afford our legacy verification price tag, but they didn’t want to go through Meta Verification, because they didn’t want to have their name in their bio.

In order to not lose this client, I told him that we could most likely remove the name from their bio after they are Meta Verified without losing the badge for a much cheaper rate.

Is this even possible to do / offer as a service to our new clients in general?

Can you send me the screenshot of your client’s account

need to lock them under contract before sharing this, just need to know if its possible before sending the contract out

Yes you can change the name after 3-4weeks

I want to remove the name

They can get a fake GOV id online, whatever name they want to put on. Otherwise there is no option.

you don’t want the legal name shown?

exactly, its for an artist that is why

You can do it if your account is recently verified do it after a month

Get the fake Id online when ordering a photoid. Make sure he gives a nice face picture to put on, so he can use the same id- as many times as to change the name- and profile.

How it would be possible any name must be mentioned as per meta policy.

Meta verified all about identification unless you know anyone who works at Meta- try @onlyusernames if he can do otherwise; I don’t think it’s eligible.

that is why I am asking if we can bypass this! that was whole premises of this discussion

Yep :+1:

@ValorMedia My g, if you want to secure a deal, you can find an internal rep-insider who can do it; someone has to break the policy and do it for you. But if I do find someone, I will reach out to you. I don’t think there is viability like that; sorry, bro.

thank you!

I think even for legacy verified accounts you need to have some sort of name in the bio, in my experience when deleting from the “name” section it just comes back
