We weren’t kidding when we told you big changes will keep coming to our website! SWAPD is now open to users of all ages! Effective immediately, we are removing the under-18 age limit, making SWAPD free-to-use for everyone, provided you have a valid form of government-issued ID.
Why Are We Making This Change?
Enhanced ID Verification with SumSub! Our partnership with SumSub, a global leader in KYC/KYB/AML compliance, has revolutionized our verification process. With SumSub’s cutting-edge technology, we can now confidently verify identities with greater accuracy, ensuring a secure environment for users of all ages. So, if you are old (young?) enough to get a government issued ID, you are welcome on SWAPD.
Important Note for Users Under 18
As a precautionary measure, all users under 18 will automatically receive a Safety Concern Badge upon verifying your ID. This is simply a safeguard due to the unpredictable nature of teenage behavior—after all, we know how rebellious and mischievous some teens can be! That said, we’ve seen 15-year-olds outshine even our entire company’s revenue, so we’re not underestimating your potential. The badge does not restrict your account’s functionality, and you can apply to have it removed once you reach $1,000 in combined sales or purchases.
With these changes, SWAPD is more accessible and inclusive than ever, while maintaining our commitment to safety and trust. We can’t wait to see what our new wave of users will bring to the platform!
