Need A CC Liquidated ( +20k$ ) For Crypto

Hey,

A long term client of mine randomly asked me if i can exchange for him… he wanted to pay thru cc in exchange of crypto. Now, he’s been a client for over a year and says he trusts me and wants to pay first. However, the concept of exchanging CC for Crypto is completely new to me, this caught me off guard and i was hoping any vetted exchanger can give me some advice. He’s saying it may be a longterm thing and he may want 50k liquidated a month.

Plus, when i asked him why dont you just do bank wire ( which is safer ) he “No because I have to remove the money off the CC lol”

Any advice before i sign myself for this and end up losing 50k via card disputes?

Credit card? idk man i mean i dont understand why they would need to go through you, probably a little weird

Once he sends you the money, he can dispute the transaction. And disputes can be done up to 6 months from date of txn.

He sends you funds via card. You send him crypto. He files a dispute, and gets his money back. Infinite money glitch.

He enjoys a considerable level of recognition, and I believe that approximately 30% of the entire Swapd community has encountered his name on multiple occasions. Nevertheless, I’m thinking about declining his offer. I appreciate your guidance.

It’s not worth it though. Imagine him disputing all 6 transactions worth $300k after the 5th month.

Yes, indeed, I completely agree. I wouldn’t want to find myself in a situation similar to Sahil Kumar’s, LOL. Speaking of him, did he ever give back the $50k to Mr.cohen?

He didn’t scam me. He scammed @veteranheroe

Yes he gave money back to @veteranheroe

Sharing from personal experience, I conducted a similar transaction involving a credit card payment of 13,000. I provided the client with an AED bank transfer transaction, deducting my commission. Fortunately, I encountered no issues during this transaction. However, to ensure a secure transaction, I took the following steps:

  1. I generated an invoice for the transaction, valuing it at 13,000 and explicitly stating it as nonrefundable. I obtained the client’s consent via email and requested their identification proof.

  2. I actually published it on a blog owned by a friend. I then shared the article link with the client via email, to which the client responded with an acceptance message, confirming that everything appeared satisfactory.

This is to ensure that if the client changes his mind and charges it then I should have a proof of communication timeline to make the deal look legit. Not sure if you can do similar to this for bigg amounts. Mine was small so this stepos were enough to fight dispute just in case client dispute.
