New Minimum Fee Policy – Effective April 11, 2025

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance SWAPD and align with our vision, we’re introducing an important update to our fee structure. While many of our April changes bring exciting improvements, this particular adjustment may be less welcome for some. We want to explain the reasoning behind this decision and how it will help shape SWAPD’s future.

Why Are We Making This Change?

SWAPD was created to be a premier marketplace for high-value assets and services, not for low-cost transactions. When we launched, we invited a select group of top-tier sellers and buyers from our previous venture (ViralAccounts.com) to build a professional, tight-knit community. While we’ve achieved significant success in this vision, we’ve noticed a growing number of smaller transactions (in the $100–$300 range) that don’t align with our core mission.

After analyzing our operations, we found that 35% of our staff’s time is dedicated to handling these smaller transactions, which account for only 3–4% of our revenue. This imbalance isn’t sustainable for our team or our business. By adjusting our fee structure, we aim to:

  • Reduce the workload on our staff, allowing them to focus on supporting larger, high-quality transactions.

  • Encourage sellers to offer premium, high-value assets and services.

  • Reinforce SWAPD’s position as a leading marketplace for professionals in our industry.

We understand this change may impact some users, and while we hope most will adapt, we recognize that not everyone may continue with us. Our goal is to ensure SWAPD remains a trusted, high-standard platform for all.

What’s Changing?

Effective April 11, 2025, we’re updating our minimum transaction fee:

  • The minimum transaction threshold will increase from $200 to $350.

  • Any transaction below $350 (excluding domain and website transfers) will incur a flat $35 fee.

Our Commitment to You

This decision wasn’t made lightly. We’re dedicated to making SWAPD the go-to marketplace for professional, high-quality transactions, not a platform for low-cost, Fiverr-like services. We believe this change will help us maintain the standards that make SWAPD unique.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we work to elevate SWAPD for everyone. If you have any questions or concerns, our team is here to assist.

Final Thoughts

The fee policy is live from now on, however, low-end transactions started PRIOR to 11.04.2025 will still be honored under the old rules.

From my opinion this is good but still not perfect. The increase should be up to 450$ with a minimum of $60 fees fixed. Because this is how I believe there is logic.

With that logic, users would start 451 USD tickets and pay 36.08 vs 60.

And you want to lead the SWAPD user committee…

Make small transactions possible for Diamond Member sellers, paid with Swapd Credits & no admin support?

The only solution than can be

Simple adjustments fixed forever.

  • $0–$199 = $60 flat
  • $200–$399 = $45 flat
  • $400+ = 10% fixed for all users ever no premium options, diamons, nothing

Our top sellers would love that. @porcupine @Abstract, please confirm before I update this.

For any newbie who might get confused with this.

Swapd is not Stoping you to start transactions below $350.

He means Swapd’s progressive fees structure starts from this amount.
For example, 9% for premium/regular members, 8% for VIPs, 7% DC members and so on… for services related transactions.

So, $35 is the minimum fee for anything lower than $350. As 9% of a $200 transaction would be $18 only.

So this change means the Swapd’s minimum fees would increase from $20 to $35 now.

And then progressive fee structure from there.

For me freedom of speech (aka public votes for who will be banned) is much more important than 1-2% that change will not destroy nobody’s, and first part can save your ass even from admins.

In simple terms:

Bigger fees will make owner happy = and than he will not care for removals too much.
