Seems like getting a like is a tough requirement considering 90 percent of the posts are about buying/selling and “pm url” type posts…there isn’t much “community” based informative type posting on these forums and very few off-topic topics to post about etc…I understand the reasoning of trying to weed out people from getting premium just think the ability to receive likes is barely attainable because of the frequency of posting on the forum.

Thank you for your input. To clairfy, in order to become a premium member, you need to gain trust level two.
They can get to trust level 2 by…
- visiting at least 15 days, not sequentially
- casting at least 1 like
- receiving at least 1 like
- replying to at least 3 different topics
- entering at least 20 topics
- reading at least 100 posts
- spend a total of 60 minutes reading posts
Getting one like is a tough requirement? We’re talking about one, one like. In a span of 15 days, that doesn’t seem like it’s tough to do. Just create a helpful article in the Public Blog section and you should receive likes on the spot. Here, I just liked your post too 
So, that’s one thing checked off from the requirement list.
