Services that were once rare and valuable are now being devalued due to aggressive undercutting and reselling for minimal profits. What used to bring in $2K–$3K now barely makes $100–$200.
I get the reselling game, but this is beyond ridiculous. By constantly driving prices down, you’re not only hurting the market but also your own profits. Take instant unbans, for example—a rare service that should hold high value. Yet, I’ve seen people flipping it for as little as $50 profit. Really? Is getting more clients than your competitor worth destroying the entire industry?
Undercutting is Killing Your Profits – Do the Math
Before:
Selling at $3,500, profit $1,500 per unban
$40,000 profit = 27 unbans
Now (undercut market):
Selling at $3,000, profit $200 per unban
$40,000 profit = 200 unbans
That’s 173 more unbans just to make the same profit! Let that sink in.
More stress, more refunds, and a ruined market. And this isn’t just about unbans—this applies to reselling in general. Undercutting isn’t winning—it’s just making things worse for everyone, including yourself.
And let’s talk about fake pricing. Stop baiting with “STARTS AT $1600” when the real cost is $2200+. It’s misleading, unprofessional, and part of the reason clients are expecting lower and lower prices.
Let’s keep the market sustainable instead of racing to the bottom.
Starting now, if we see threads that have their prices mislabeled compared to the quotes consistently being given out by the seller, or false promises of “INSTANT” or “24 HOUR TAT” etc. that are not delivered as promised, prepare to have your topics deleted or unlisted without question.
Here it is! There are also people who promise 100% success in every service but fail to deliver. Nowadays, customers and buyers expect flawless results from every service. However, it is not realistic to assume that every service can have a 100% success rate. I explain to customers that some setbacks may occur due to the nature of the service, and what truly matters is an honest and quality-driven approach.
Additionally, those who promise 100% success but fail to deliver after a certain number of attempts should receive a warning or have their services removed. This way, customers can receive more reliable and high-quality service. @1999@Alpha
This is because the forum started allowing every new noob to seller their services. Earlier it was privilege to sell services in Swapd forum because people used to undergo verification and lot of scammers and time waster used to avoid this process. Earlier market was filled with professional and verified seller that understands under cutting is not long term. Now you see lot of seller selling undercut and tempting price services which actually they dont deliver.
I’ve said this before but swapd needs to address it any seller that wants to create topic should get verified first before creating a topic for a better forum offering good service for buyers on this site
Theres nothing differentiating vendor A’s instant unbans vs vendor B’s instant unbans other than pricing. Just normal market forces at play - and its a good thing for us consumers. On the other hand - fake prices are fking annoying.
Sellers just need to have a success rate on their profile. It doesn’t have to be service specific, just an overall success rate of their tickets that end in a successful delivery.
Right above response times, e.g.
“This seller’s success rate is 92%”
My suggestion would be to show success rate % on seller profile or sales thread and if seller says 100% and fails to deliver he needs to pay 50% of the ticket to the buyer.
