More motivation: I also pay my mom’s heating bill and have been doing so for the past 13 years. I pay the FULL annual bill (which get expensive in Poland). In addition to that, she gets showered with gifts/cash all the time. Last year I gave her a stack of bills for her b-day, wrapped up like a box of chocolates
