SWAPD PHOTO CONTEST #3 - WIN UP TO 3500 USDT, CASH!

CONTEST UPDATE

Unfortunately, virtually all top-liked posts had some form (small or large) of manipulation. @Brant has spent hours today digging and found dirt on all of you. Seriously, disappointing. We will not let you know who did what, nor provide any proof, and for wasting our time, many of you will be disqualified from this contest (and all future contests). You will also lose your SWAPD statuses. For now, we’re invoking the following rules:

SWAPD Admins can change the rules or have the final say for any reason, or no reason, even if drunk! No discussion/fighting with staff — we’ve always been fair. If you end up manipulating this contest in any way, consider yourself gone. SWAPD staff will delete any submission deemed unfit, without warning or reason given.

And we will not pick winners based on the number of fake and manipulated votes, but rather by the merit, creativity, and coolness of your submissions, judged by admins and admins alone. For that reason, the award giveaway will be postponed until we finalize who to punish and pick who we deem the best three submissions.

You don’t need to be a SWAPD veteran to score some cash!

NEW CONTEST, BASED ON OUR OLD PHOTO CONTESTS!!

:camera_flash: SWAPD Arrows Photo Challenge

It’s simple: take a creative photo that includes the SWAPD arrows (our logo), post it in this thread, and you’re in. The more unique or eye-catching your photo is, the more likes you’ll get — and the one with the most likes when the contest ends takes home the prize.

TOP PRIZES!

Photo with most likes (reactions) gets 2000 USDT!

Second place photo gets 1000 USDT

Third place photo gets 500 USDT

HOWEVER, a single person can win ALL THREE prizes, providing their submissions land in the first three spots! And yes, multiple submissions are allowed.

Need some inspiration?

  • Draw the SWAPD arrows in the sand at the beach.
  • Create the logo out of objects around your home.
  • Show off your country or city — hold up the logo in a scenic spot.
  • Write it in the snow, sketch it on paper, or bake it into a cake — go wild.
  • Snap a selfie with the logo on your screen or in your hands.
  • Share your desk setup, a meal, something funny, weird, cool — whatever.
  • As long as it includes the SWAPD arrows and it’s original, it’s fair game.
  • Again - No artificial intelligence photos.

You can also view the old contest here, to get some ideas:

Let your creativity run loose. The sky’s the limit!

Dog’s Got the Product. Cat’s Got the Attitude.

A typical transaction of a Seller Dog acting all cool and professional, while Buyer Cat acting all disinterested to bargain the price at Swapd.

Her name is Jio.

Not named after the biggest telecom company in India, but after the Sanskrit word, which means “to live” or simply “life.”

Back in 2018, my home state Kerala faced its worst flood in over a century. This is a place that receives one of the highest rainfalls in the world during normal monsoons. But this time it increased by 5x. We had like two weeks of continuous heavy rain. And it caused heavy flooding.

During that time, a group of schoolboys found two newborn puppies, barely a week old, floating down a canal. They managed to bravely rescue them. But they could only rescue one of them.

The boys wanted to raise her, but their parents refused. Most people here either don’t like keeping dogs, and even if they do, they prefer not to adopt female dogs.

So the kids did their best. They sheltered her in a nearby abandoned house and tried to look after her. But they couldn’t manage it well, so my sister and I began visiting daily to feed her.

Eventually, the pup started showing up at our house every day. We already had a dog and weren’t looking to keep another. Also our dog wasn’t very welcoming at first. She would bark at her and not let her enter. But over time, she won her over… and us too.

Every evening, the boys would come by and take her back. But one day, when they tried to do that, she barked at them, refusing to leave. That was the moment we knew she’d chosen us.

We named her Jio because she survived, she fought and she lived. We tried finding her a new home, but no one wanted a weak local-breed female puppy. She looked more like a shivering rat than a dog back then.

But as she grew, it became clear she wasn’t a local breed. No one expected her to be so short and cute. Suddenly, everyone wanted her. Dozens of people asked if they could buy her. Even offering good money.

But by then, it was too late. She wasn’t up for adoption anymore.

She was home. She had become part of our family. And she is a smart intelligent dog with her own peculiarities. She mingle well with our other pets, and has a unique personality. We are very glad she came into our lives.

That’s the story of Jio. By the way, that cat was also adopted similarly. The other dog was also adopted like that. We don’t buy animals, we only adopt.
