Refund – What Does It Mean?
When your Checkout Ticket is marked as Refund, it indicates that the transaction will not be completed in its original form, and the Buyer will receive either a full or partial refund.
Important Points to Note
-
Method of Refund
Refunds are processed by SWAPD (operated by VEYYO Limited Partnership, Canada) as Merchant of Record, using the same payment method as the original transaction whenever possible. For example, a payment made via bank wire will normally be refunded via bank wire. -
Responsibility for Transfer Costs
Any third-party transfer fees (e.g., bank charges, crypto network fees) associated with returning funds are the responsibility of the Buyer, unless SWAPD determines otherwise in the Checkout Ticket. -
SWAPD Service Fees
SWAPD service fees are non-refundable, except where explicitly approved by SWAPD staff at their sole discretion. -
Subcontractor Errors
If the refund results from a subcontractor’s clear breach of the Checkout Ticket terms (e.g., non-delivery, misrepresentation), SWAPD may, at its discretion, allocate transfer costs or penalties against the subcontractor.
Reminder: Refund decisions are binding, final, and administered exclusively by SWAPD as Merchant of Record.
