We see this more often, and somehow today more than ever. What am I talking about? I am talking about users who flag their own topics, for reasons such as:
- Requesting to close the topic.
- Requesting to reopen the topic.
- Asking to edit/remove something.
- etc.
The flagging feature is only for reporting bad things, if you try to get our attention by flagging your own post, we only have a few options on our end, mainly punish/ignore the flag. If you don’t want to get punished by your own flag, we suggest that you use conventional methods of communication and simply email/PM staff. Accumulating multiple flag punishments results in a suspension, and I don’t think anyone would like that unless it was @RandyMarsh who would be suspended.
