We're increasing YouTube limits

For the longest time, we’ve had the following rules on social media properties:

  1. All social platforms - 20k follower minimum.
  2. YouTube - 10K subs minimum.
  3. Verified social properties - no follower minimum.

YouTube was only decreased because a while ago @Hussey thought that would be the right thing to do, but we no longer agree with this. It’s too confusing to new members, so to keep it simple, YouTube will also have a 20K subscriber limit. Basically, all social media properties, no matter which platform, require a 20K follower/likes/subs minimum.

Listings made before this change can still stay up, but any new properties that do not meet our new requirements cannot be listed on SWAPD.

Thank you for understanding.

I assume this does not apply to short/rare handles, correct?

ok i guess so

@SWAPD You may add a TAG with YouTube Channels smaller than 20k Subs:
“Buy at your own risk. We don’t offer Audit of Accounts smaller than 20k Subs.”

Nope. You don’t understand, @Hussey. We don’t want this place to be flooded with tiny properties. And even if you put “without warranty at your own risk,” some people will still purchase anything, find out what they bought was crap, and will blame you for it, anyway.

You mean to say that seller can’t sell under 20k subscribers channel on swapd. Right?

Unless its monetized or has a verified badge.
