I noticed a lot of YouTube Channels just got verified without meeting any requirements, being active, or doing anything to be verified. Anyone know why this happened?

Yes, along with so many other creators that got the same email and all got verified yesterday. Surprised YouTube didn’t say anything about it or maybe they are just trying to bring creators from other platforms
Are there any requirements of people getting the badge cause some of them I seen on Twitter have like 1k subs or more little bit to 10k. Even if they don’t do YouTube fully like that.
Seems like it was almost completely random, although most of them have large followings on other platforms (Ex: 300k on tiktok), & exactly, I saw a few with less than 1k subs on YouTube and they still got verified, a lot of the people were also basically inactive on YouTube too lol
