Before I dive into it, here’s a little background info about me. I am 25 years old, I live in Canada, and I’ve been creating YouTube videos for the last 5 years. During this time I’ve also consulted as a strategist for some of the biggest creators in the world, on videos totaling over 4.6 Billion views.
4 Examples of My Results:
From Sept 2021 until Jan 2023, I helped a creator go from 98K to 2.9 Million subscribers. Before I started working with him he was averaging 20K views a video. I came up with all of his concepts over the last year, optimized his titles and thumbnails as well as his video hooks, throughlines and overall structure. He now averages 1.4 Million views a video, and routinely gets 68-72% APV.
A short form creator, with 5 Mill subs, started posting long form vids last year, but was averaging only 80K views a vid. In the month of October 2022 I developed a strategy to funnel his shorts viewers to his long form, turning 8% of shorts viewers into long form viewers. That month he hit $69,000 in revenue - his highest ever in a single month.
This creator is a great example of how a few changes can have big results. I noticed she had a banger idea except the title’s readability was low and the thumbnail lacked a curiosity gap. I created a thumbnail and optimized the title, which caused the vid to increase by over 500K views. All of these changes took less than an hour to implement.
Helped a creator with 1K subscribers grow their channel to 200K subs and 100 Mill channel views with just 20 videos. They haven’t posted in 200 days, but because the video concepts are so good, the channel still does 5 million views a month.
What this Mentorship includes:
1 on 1 access to me. You will be able to ask me any questions about YouTube, your channel, and any channel type (shorts, long form, compilations, cash cow etc)
A channel analysis where I’ll point out any mistakes you’re making with your concepts, thumbnails, titles, video structures, retention, edits, CTA’s
A channel specific document that outlines the exact steps you can take to improve any and all of the above
The price for this mentorship is $950, payment method is ETH, PayPal or Wire Transfer and the ticket duration will be for 3 days, however even after the ticket ends you can still DM me. Now let’s get you making money!
So a curiosity gap refers to creating a question in a viewers mind. Your thumbnail needs to create curiosity so that the viewer needs to click to get the answer. One of the best ways of doing this is with what I call, “the mid action shot”.
Imagine you see a person in mid air, jumping from one side of a cliff to another, except between both sides is a giant hole. If you place the jumping individual near point A, as if they just took off, this creates a question in the viewers mind of “does the person make it to point B?” causing them to click to find out.
Thanks bro. I help both large creators as well as new creators. While helping a creator with zero subs is slightly more difficult (because there’s no base to go off of, and you need to do more market research), if they’re willing to do a mix of both long form and shorts to get channel momentum up, I can definitely help in some way or another - whether that’s with ideation (typically the biggest issue for new creators), thumbs, hooks, you name it. And for podcasts, 95% of new/smaller podcast’s I’ve seen make mistakes with either the idea, their hooks, the pace or the edit, so there’s definitely a possibility I could help there too.
I’m looking to get started with 1 or 2 channels. But have nothing made yet. Newbie. Pretty familiar with making videos in the past but would this be applicable to me?
Can you dm me how this looks as far as how long you’ll mentor/show me what to do?
Hey bro, yeah it is. It’s typically a lot easier when I have a baseline of what your knowledge is tho but if you pm me any of the videos you’ve worked on in the past that’ll help a lot
