Quick answer depends on how much you will obey the site rules.
I’ll explain the situation that happened to me today. I sold a course where the buyer and I strictly agreed on everything in the terms he payed in ticket and confirm multiple times all again. All terms were 99% the same as usual website course terms, except for one thing.
I didn’t want to share the course in the TICKET, in front of 5-6 admins. I decided to share the course ONLY with the buyer, which I believe is completely normal. Once the ticket is closed, I will provide the full course only to the person who paid for it, not to several admins. It’s not about trust, it’s about the fact that admins are also human, and I don’t want people who didn’t pay to have full access to my course.
For this, I received a ‘warning’ to never sell courses under these terms again. Or to go on another website and have my own rules. So I ask myself, who is in the right here? I am here to LEARN, so learn me who is right here
If the platform values the seller’s content and integrity, then sharing sensitive material with multiple parties who didn’t pay for it shouldn’t be a requirement. This isn’t about breaking rules; it’s about protecting my work and ensuring it goes to the person who bought it, as agreed.
Browse SWAPD staff and their services, then go browse the mentorship section. Try to find one instance that would suggest we’ve ever used anyone’s course to cut into someone’s business.
You asked to be paid, the ticket closed, and only then would you deliver the course in private. That’s not how escrow works.
Even buyer multiples times say all responsibility is on me and if he not deliver course after ticket my only rights is to give negative feedback.
Also i never say admins will re-sell courses on site you are probably all millionaires , but why not off-site? If you remember one time website admins also searched for representative emails to work with you directly and to contact you. So yeah , after that i just want my rights for privacy.
Swapd definitely need to clarify course selling more directly btw buyer-seller only.
@TheSolomon if you truly care about privacy simply deliver the course on a privnote
Privnote only one person can click the link and view the product therefore once the buyer secured the course content no one else can click the link because it will self destruct.
Problem solved
Its not insane if buyer and me agreed on it i will never risk my membership for any amount , for me its more insane if you allow ticket, let buyer to pay for it, say to me “seller send your usdt to recive money” and then just out of nowhere, “this terms which we alredy accepted are not allowed” we need to refund buyer i just hope buyer will not lost nice amount of fees for noathing…
It completely negates the purpose of an escrow, you literally have full access to never deliver the product and scam the buyer (not saying you will). Thats the whole point of the escrow for both the buyer and sellers protection
If you use the method I said above there is no reason why you cant go through with the transaction, literally zero reason at all since you’re main issue is trust within the admins.
Thanks, didn’t know about this i never use it, admins didn’t haved time to explain me this option is allowed (and not considered like off-site communication)
You’re welcome!
It’s not there job to explain this, usually they shouldn’t have to since you’ve done over 100k in deals as a diamond member there should be a mutual understanding of trust that the admins won’t take your product… but this is a solution for your further security
