Portal help

friends, I have a question, how to protect my purchase - Facebook portal, which the seller sells with his Facebook?

How can I protect the portal after purchase so that the former owner cannot restore the Facebook page from which he knows all the data?

Problem 1:
I can change all the data from Facebook - but in this case, Facebook may block me or take away access to the portal

Problem 2:
I can leave everything as it is - but then the seller can return Facebook to himself

What is the right thing to do?

Administration @SWAPD @Goofy - what guarantees can I get from you, since the purchase will be made through you

There is no protection possible. If the seller snitches you to the rep who activated the portal, access will be revoked.

You can’t.

There is no way I can guarantee this. Buy and sell based on trust, find a reputable seller, good luck.

Facebook does not remove portals if you change the account information (I assume you mean email/password). The portal is tied to the Facebook profile URL, not account info.

friends, how can I transfer the portal from one Facebook account to another account, is there such a possibility?

You can. Depends on if this is a creator/business/media. For Media you have to email your partner manager and tell them you wish to add another member and to remove yourself for whatever reason. They will proceed accordingly.

From who?

Lunar sold me one, he sold the same one to various other people (even some on this site).

Therefore the portal got broken down within just a few weeks. Everyone’s money lost.

He didn’t offer any serious help, let alone refund.

Swapd didn’t want to ban him, but he did banned him from selling portals ever again on this site.

You probably submitted something against their guidelines. They remove them easily if you abuse

He never used it I’m pretty sure

Only way to lose it then if you ask your partner manager to remove it or transfer it to a new profile. Low chance but if the company loses their partnership with Meta, they will remove too.

Because various people where set onto the same partnership, eventually it got blowed by others.

Seller of course knew that this was a risk, but he just didn’t care. Anyways, it is what it is. Reality can’t be changed. Some people sacrifice their soul and morals, just to do everything for some paper that gets printed.

Portals are opened on profile level. You could have one employee to abuse the portal while other still have access. I’ve seen it happening at other companies and my companies.

You can open a portal on a fresh profile.

buying portals is a dangerous thing, we bought a portal, we had it hacked 2 times (I won’t write all the details) we have successfully returned it 2 times .
If next time it does not work out to return it , we will bring the details to the general court , I think everyone will say who was the hacker of the portal .

Hack, what do you mean?

Did the seller regain access to the Facebook account where Media Portal was assigned?

Yes , we cannot disclose the details yet

If you purchase Media Portal access. One piece of advice, ask the seller to contact the representative to transfer Media Portal access from account A to B (your account), it will be more secure.

This also helps you confirm that the Rep assigned to the portal is still active. Because sometimes sellers sell the Media Portal but the assigned representative has resigned or is no longer assigned (this also affects Media Portal access).

You should message the seller and ask them to transfer the portal from the profile to a new one in your possession.

The profile can be recovered quite easily especially by and organization that assigned it. They just need to contact their partner manager assigned and say it was hacked.
