Safest way to move over an IG Username?

I dont wanna be “that guy” but I looked around and I couldnt find an answer anywhere. So if there is an article already, could someone send it?

Basically I am in the process of trying to get a OG instagram handle. Just the name. No followers, nothing. Once I purchase the name. Will I be able to transfer it to a different account? Or is it safer to just keep it on the account it comes with?

My fear is once I “move it” over someone will grab it. Then i also heard you have 14 days to change it back once you change it. So would I have to wait 14 days, and a second to switch it over to a new account?

Although there might be some services with very fast turbo’s you should always remember that it’s never 100% safe and if it fails, it’s gone. So if it’s very high valued OG, I suggest not do because there are probably 20 arabs turbo’s waiting to claim it :stuck_out_tongue:
