How do people get a lot of USA followers(like 40%+)? Is it just luck or do people actually have some sort of strategies? If so, what are they?

I am interested if anyone knows this. From what I have read its random and depends on niche and uncontrollable factors.

Same, I quite like the theory in Obtaining a Premium Audience but there’s no confirmation on if its correct as it’s obviously a theory.

Would really love to see what other people have to say about it.

there is no trick & luck. you should use USA hashtags and upload places ( USA ) when you’re posting.

i have an account , it has more than 45k followers with USA audience and all i am doing is POSTING. :grinning:

For “places” your are talking about geotagging? Like putting the post location as Los Angeles?

Then for the USA hashtags what does that mean exactly? Just english hashtags like #cars or specifically USA cities like #losangeles ?

I aint using hashtags , a few posts went to viral that’s how I got most % USA

when I bought the account It was with USA audience , I am sharing videos ( Reels ) without using hashtags and I am getting new followers ( USA audience)

Hm, that sounds like it may mainly be because of the niche instead of actual strategies etc

It all depends upon the method of how you grow your accounts/Pages.

For Example: While i was growing Fb pages, i would restrict all countries Except US, UK, AUS etc. We used the same fb to promo our Instagram. Now a days we use shootouts with accounts which has a USA or Premium audience. Since majority of the new follower traction comes from the Parent page where we shoutout our building page. It takes the same demography as the parent page.

I thought about it that way too, once you do the shoutouts etc, do you need to continue to do them? Or will IG just continue to keep that audience at the rough percentages that its at?

Do you think 10K followers would be enough to get to via shoutouts (from scratch) or would I need more/less?

To be honest you beed to have more followers , right now i have 48,000+ followers and i aint doing and promos ( i haven’t received anyone who wants promo too )

keep posting reels and stories ( i am uploading reels in every 48 hours and story in every 72 hours )

Too bad we can’t restrict on Instagram. That would be so helpful.

Yeah I have tried both strategies mentioned, geotagging and USA hashtags and neither work. It almost seems random. I have a car pages with 13%USA and another with 30% USA and I post the same content on each.

I had 23.5% USA followers and right now I have 24.2%
