Verification is important to keep with Passport it took me to send my visa, my id card , my passport driver licence till i got verified i was a noob that time but i see its as important thing at least the verification with documents to be more strict like handle the verification with id in plaforms where u need to do with face video camera record this would for sure remove out of games 80% of scammers i seen to many members last 3 months and most of them are ghosts and i do suspect there few peoples who run all those new accounts because who ever i spoke they said oh i got this case from someone when pushed they play games
Buyers of social media accounts, how often do you currently face pullback issues on site even with verified ID people? very curious
Donāt see a reason to not do this as people can just choose to not deal with these users if they donāt deem it secure. Also, increasing the duration for grace period for unverified users would be a good idea and it could be implemented this way.
What about having a lot of spammy threads about services that canāt be delivered and/or are sketchy?
Iāll be honest @SWAPD , this forum looked sketchy as hell when I first discovered it. I was so paranoid that I took two whole weeks to gather the courage to send my ID. The only thing that persuaded me was Lunar and his awesome verification and PR services. Heās a legend around here. And this is the only forum where you can get such legit services.
Besides that, I dig the policy of capping un-verified users at $1000 per transaction and only taking bank wire for payout. It weeds out most of the crypto-crazy scammers who get all excited when they think they can screw someone over with crypto.

I think downside like that is worth the possible upsides and growth. Not to mention that unverified users can already post threads so it really wouldnāt change much.

Already get a lot of sellers who canāt deliver, adding this would just make things a lot more wild.
Iād more prefer being part of a small community of all legit sellers / buyers than a big one with assholes

I can understand what @SWAPD means in terms of scale how ID can scare people away.
To really, truthfully I think there shouldnāt even be a transaction limit for a buyer as long as they are paying with wire and you are able to get vital information for protection on our end.
I def wouldnāt allow sellers to not be able to sell without the ID. Can quickly ruin the credibility and legitimacy and dilute the offerings of the sellers who can indeed deliver.

Thanks for your input. So for now, itās safe to say most people agree that buyers should be able to buy without ID verification, and we will most likely implement that.

past 2 years I joined many online shops like Swapd but Swapd is the only place that was highly professional and the only place that I trust and not get scammed. I understand from the business perspective that ID might be a problem for some people but yeah, the ratio difference between SCAMMERS and REAL PEOPLE (who do not want to give their ID) is huge.
Plus you guys have nice reputation outside :)))

The issues can arise after the money is released and the service was delivered.
If a client wants to pull a fast one or if the seller does not want to be held accountable for anything going wrong with the service agreement.
Escrows are only a solution for half, disclaimers and agreements for most of the other half.
Still room for grey area, those idās can take it a notch further and cover that grey area because you have direct contact with either.
Give one example (Elon musk voice)
