You can now sell leads/contacts on SWAPD (experimental)

We’ve decided to open a new category per user request. You can now buy/sell business leads along with contacts. As with mentoring transactions, you cannot dispute business leads tickets. Why? Because there is no way to undo a download. There is also no way for staff to verify claims, whether the list is old/new/stolen/etc. Do your research and buy from trusted individuals, so you don’t get burned.

What can you sell?

  1. Email lists
  2. Client lists (addresses/phone/etc.)
  3. General leads
  4. Contacts/introductions

What can’t you sell?

  1. Leads that were obtained illegally
  2. Leads without permission for reselling
  3. Hacked databases
  4. Scrapped data

Since this has never been here, does anyone have any idea how to best handle this? Meaning, direct sales or auctions? Give one big list at once or split it to smaller parts? Any feedback would be welcome!

Can’t help you there, no experience.

This creates a lot of liability for Swapd, sellers, and buyers if someone buys or sells scrapped emails. Pretty much everything on here violates the terms of service of every social media platform, but email harvesting and spam that violate the CAN-SPAM laws are actually illegal and punishable unlike violating a websites TOS.

Agreed. People selling contacts alone is asking for problems.

People will setup fake emails saying “important contact”.

Get your money then say oh they mustn’t want to reply anymore.

What about swapd fees.
Most people want to test the emails
But if they order 20$ worth of emails I end up paying -35 LOL
So I guess it should be a minium 150$ orders.

Correct. Anything under 200 USD gets a 20 USD fee.
