SWAPD is a trusted middleman service dedicated to offering our users the safest way to buy, sell, or trade items and services of virtual nature. SWAPD opens doors for you to earn and rise to fame in the digital universe by connecting you with vast network of buyers, sellers, and opportunities.
First, we would like to thank you all for making SWAPD possible. After the COVID slowdown, 2024 is finally the year where we’re seeing growth—not only in ticket volume but also in ticket prices, activity, and member sign-ups! It seems our industry is far from being dead.
Second, we would like to use this topic to discuss future expansions and features of SWAPD. We would like to apologize for the recent lack of upgrades, mainly caused by our developer team working hard on our new project, lusty.com. As far as 100% confirmed changes coming in the 1st quarter of 2025, here they are:
We’re adding one more home page slot (slot #4). We are against banners and intrusive ads, and we want to cater only to subtle text ads here and there, and we believe we’ve done a fine job with it. We currently offer category pins, home page ads, menu ads, sponsored keywords, and eight sidebar ads. With the exception of home page ads, everything stays as is. With 80K members around the corner, we believe one more home page ad is the right fit to ensure our large players have enough room to shine. So, starting now, we are setting up an auction for a 4th slot on our home page.
The next upgrade (I know we’ve promised it any day now, but it truly is coming out shortly) is the Seller’s Success Ratio. By clicking on ANY seller’s profile, you will see their success ratio in percentages, shown alongside the number of transactions this calculation is based on. No more time wasters.
Filter listings tools! Filter by user status, amount of feedback, and success ratio. This expansion is also set for the 1st quarter of 2025.
Moving SWAPD offshore (to Canada). We’ve promised a Jan 1st deadline for that, but due to things out of our control (legislative problems), we may be 2-4 weeks behind on that promise. But it IS happening. DAC7 will not be implemented, and the MiCA directive is also tossed. In addition, sellers will enjoy 1% savings on all their tickets as we’re abandoning CoinPayments and moving back to direct crypto payments. Please be advised, January may be a very tough time for bank wires and credit card payments, since we’re closing Veyyo on Dec 31st. For about 2-3 weeks, we will be in a legal nomad land, which is hard to navigate with FIAT payments.
In addition to all of the above, we are set to upgrade our core to 3.3, which will come with its own set of upgrades such as UI changes, more AI features, and chat improvements.
I’d like to use this topic to get more ideas from you. Even if you posted them before, please let us know again. SWAPD is quite busy, and it’s hard for us to track all topics. Let’s consolidate all the ideas into this one topic.
@humaira came up with a great idea for a seller’s keyword spy tool! So, we’re already working on a new plugin that will allow users to:
Set any keyword or phrase they want, such as “need unban,” “CMS,” “gay Twitter,” etc.
Select the category they want to monitor.
AAAAAAND every day, the system will scan all new topics for these phrases in the selected categories, including both the body text and title, and send you a detailed report on all new found topics (if any). Users will also have the option to receive notifications not only on SWAPD but directly via email.
The Buyer Requests category is our MOST POPULAR category, yet it often goes unnoticed. While SWAPD had a similar feature already (tag scanner), it was quite useless since our tags were added by admins and were fairly generic. This plugin will allow you to laser-focus on what you’re looking for.
This feature should help sellers get more leads! But even buyers can benefit. For example, if you’re looking for something rare but don’t feel like checking SWAPD every day, just set it and wait for notifications!
Just set it, and wait for notifications! Cool, no? This was totally my idea.
Buyers trophies/awards that are obtainable without verification of their ID.
I understand sellers’ requirements, but for buyers, not only would it be easier for sellers to distinguish those who have good track records for not wasting time, but it would also enable the user to have a stronger word in disputes.
Perhaps create a specific club for buyers who want this badge and charge $100. This would increase the site’s free revenue while benefiting both buyers and sellers.
Another suggestion is to allow buyers to buy buyers advertisements. Very few would, but I would because this site lacks more vendors for specific niches.
Improving diversity will help the brand increase its ESG rating as a bonus!
We are (for now) setting up in Cyprus. If project is successful in any meaningful way, we’re willing to move wherever. You are free to drop what’s on your mind at contact@lusty.com - Meanwhile, let’s get back on topic here. The topic for Lusty is here.
