@Liquid You are embarrassing yourself
@Shared have you thought bringing it to court?
Lately the big governments around the world trying to weak the big monopolies. Your case is a perfect example of bad behaviour cause of to much power Facebook have. You definitely have a chance in court about it, even if the term of use cover them from lawsuit.
It’s a good thought and it’s a thought that’s crossed my mind, but I haven’t really considered it too seriously. Part of it is that it’s just not something I know enough about it. But there are two main reasons:
The first is that my main goal remains to have a positive relationship with Facebook. I have yet to find a platform that comes anywhere close to comparing to it. I’ve seen a lot of comments about ‘one basket’ etc, but I have not said anywhere that we haven’t tried. We have never stopped trying, and continue to this day to have daily spends on multiple platforms. None of them come close to scale of Facebook. All of them take significantly more effort for significantly less reward.
The second is that I think for any sort of legal recourse to succeed, it would really need to be class action and much, much bigger than just someone like me. What I can tell you is that every morning I wake up to messages from others sharing similar stories. So maybe one day it will happen. My story is out there and public, and I’m certain more than a couple lawyers have read it, had it forwarded to them and have thought through the idea. They’re a lot more capable of thinking through this than I am!
There used to be someone on here who could bring back deleted and unpublished pages in the blink of a second. If he or she is still around and sees this, by all means, get in touch with OP.
If that person exists, I would love to make that connection. Even if my situation might have too much heat for something like that, I have talked to LOT of people who could use their help right now!
That’s is a good point but honestly relying on Facebook now days is too much risky. I assume even if you solve it, something like that would happen again sooner or later.
Maybe changing the business model can benefit you in the long term. In case you do want to take it to court I suggest you to search layers who won big cases vs Facebook and consult with them.
Check your PM.
Sounds too good to be true tbh, if she or he is still lurking around swapd please get in touch, we all need you!
You should check this
By any luck you recovered the pages? Or still removed
I know the feeling. Once had a page network of 10M+ US 35+ followers (same demographic as you guys) but everything was deleted back in 2018 and I never heard a word from Facebook… I licensed your video content for quite a while actually, got tons of engagement.
This is so frustrating and has happened to me in the past too. I think the most annoying thing is Facebook being so closed to appeals and saying “this decision is final” every time you attempt to contact them, even denying to give some more explanation about the reasons.
way back i had like 150 pages unpublished on facebook. so gradually i started working very low key and working in a way that facebook cannot establish connection between different pages. it is possible you get your pages back but facebook is really not reliable as main source of income.
almost same happened to me.
Facebook sucks donkey DEEK.
Bro you brought back a 3 year old thread lol
