TransferWise.com has closed our company account. Important information regarding your payments and ongoing transactions

Wow, so we can expect the same thing. I don’t see any reason why not, so I will proceed to officially toss TransferWise out of SWAPD.

@FAME - We have been with them for two years, not a single chargeback or problem, ever.

@SMM - It seems the rep really just wanted to get rid of you ASAP and gave you a very crappy response. I will do some investigation on this person, but I suggest to talk to a higher-up (if it’s important to you). Maybe his tone will change. Request to speak to someone else (manager). Be Karen, think Karen, and use your Karen force.

@SWAPD Can we ask them on twitter for reason? (Obviously, In polite manner with proper etiquette)

+1

They released now anyway the two payout I did. Lucky don’t have any other funds on it. Just last payment I get from Skyn

A company like TransferWise is regulated to the point where they actually can’t talk user-details over social media, so that won’t help. But you can pester them on social media for them to look into specific case numbers etc. Seems like a lot of people also go the Better Business Bureau way with them. Not sure if it has any effect though.

They released our funds, also. Anyway, @Goofy is working on getting through to some higher-ups, I am sure Mr. Lee is just a low-level rep who will treat us the same.

I have a feeling this is all because of the stigma over our industry, that buying/selling accounts is iLLeGal.

To our defense:

  1. This business has been here forever. Some platforms literally have systems in place to move assets (FB/YT).
  2. This is allowed providing permission from social media platforms is provided. Albeit, not many users request this but we do have plenty of tickets where proper forms were sent and approved. Not one denial, ever.
  3. There is nothing illegal about this. Never I repeat never was there a court case (that I’ve heard of at least) where users were dragged through a lawsuit. Also, the uber middleman giant, Escrow.com, opened a social media category 1-2 years ago. There are no penal codes against this, nowhere. On top of it, many courts all around the world ruled that breaking Terms of Service isn’t illegal unless it breaks obvious laws (hacking/threatening/etc.)
  4. 70% of our business is service-related. We should be called SERWD.co and not SWAPD.
  5. We’ve been with TransferWise for two years, we never ever received a complaint.

maybe they want % of deals ?

Highly doubt it

Have been banned from their platform since last year. You can try everything in your power but nothing will happen.
The way to go after them is to sue them, if you have the time and resources although am sure they have some BS terms and conditions that covers them. It’s just to make them uncomfortable and speak with someone that has some power in the company.

PayPal is another clown. Dropshippers dread this two platforms.

They will always say we cant provide more information on why your account has been terminated

UGH ! this one is gonna be really good ! Hope its available for all countries !

Really good for scammers, yes :joy:

SWAPD should make it’s own paypal like company!

We have been limited by PayPal twice, and once because of our business model. However, I provided all the arguments I have posted above and to my surprise PayPal said OK, but they didn’t want us doing ungodly amounts, hence the low limits.

PayPal is dying on SWAPD, anyway. I wouldn’t mind losing them. They only constitute 10% of our volume.

Which payment method has been the main volume on the site? TransferWise?

What do you mean ? ‘’ Really good for scammers, yes :joy: ‘’
